Q. Will I be able to migrate my data from the current workbench to the NGBW?
A. Yes, you can do that now..
Q. The PICT file from Boxshade is problematic. It does not display properly.
A. We have attempted to address this issue, but have not been successful. The PICT file that is produced by Boxshade does not display correctly on our machines either. We are removing this option until we can resolve the issue.Our apologies for that.
Q. Can you improve the search options, so I can narrow down my search?
A. Advanced searching tools will be available, but have been postponed in favor of some other features. We understand the importance of this feature, but had to make hard choices about implementation priorities. The ability to save and modify searches is also planned We expect these things to roll out in December of 2008.
Q. Adding multiple sequences one at a time is painful, can you help make that task easier.
A. Yes, in two ways: we are working on making multiple simultaneous uploads possible, and on making the application intelligent enough to recognize the data as it arrives. Both features are expected in Fall of 2008.
