MAC 10.6 Snow Leopard Issue with Sirius

MAC OS 10.6 Safari eliminated support for the JOGL interface. Sirius relies on the JOGL interface, so it will fail in Safari on Snow Leopard under default conditions.

The error message

Error:  Init failed:  Unsupported OS/Arch (Mac OS X/X86_64)

will appear. You can use Firefox with no problems. If you wish to use Sirius on Safari, you must change default settings of Safari. Before launching Safari on your MAC, go the Applications area, find the Safari browser icon, and "right click" on it. A list of options will appear. Choose "Get Info". A window will open. Look for the check box "Open in 32 bit mode" and check the box. Now Sirius will work as always. Pictorial directions and more explicit instructions/explanations are here.
